Genetic and cytological characterization of Sorghum bicolor and S. halepense hybrid lines.

Domesticated sorghum is an annual crop, however, perennial lines can be obtained via hybridization of domesticated sorghum with wild relatives, so understanding chromosome and traits segregation in hybrids is necessary to enable efficient selection and overcome detrimental linkage drag.
